The Sustainable Cities Latin America – SCLA is a multidisciplinary and non-profit event. SCLA emerged in 2019 as a result of a partnership between the “Universidad Nacional de San Agustín de Arequipa – Peru” and the “Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo – Brazil”, with Prof. Dr. Jorge Rodolfo Beingolea serving as its founding president.
SCLA is supported by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) as its main technical sponsor for the Call and indexing of Articles resulting from the event.
At the epicenter of this evolution, events like the “Sustainable Cities Latin America” (IEEE SCLA) emerge as catalysts for inspiring change. They are not mere gatherings but true idea laboratories where leaders, experts, and enthusiasts of the cities of the future come together. SCLA, in particular, shines in fostering urban innovation initiatives in Latin America, where bold visions and transformative projects come to life.
